§ 34.011 RESPONSIBILITIES AND AUTHORITY.
   The Board of Fire and Police Commissioners shall exercise the authority conferred upon it by the Illinois Compiled Statutes and by the ordinances adopted by the Board of Trustees. Where any such statute is inconsistent with this municipal code, the terms of this code shall apply and control.
