§ 33.03 RESIDENCY REQUIREMENTS.
   (A)   When appointed, all Auxiliary Police Officers shall reside within the boundaries of Leyden Township and shall continue such residence throughout his or her term as an Auxiliary Police Officer.
   (B)   Except as set forth in this subsection, all members of the Classified Service of the Police Department shall reside within the following Area of Residency: The territory bounded on the north and the east by the Illinois state line, on the south by Interstate 80, and on the west by Illinois State Route 47.
      (1)   Within 180 days of the successful completion of his probationary period, an appointee to a position in the Classified Service of the Police Department shall reside in the above-described Area of Residency.
      (2)   In the event the above-described Area of Residency is modified by an ordinance amending this subsection (B), adopted by the President and Board of Trustees, all members of the Classified Service of the Police Department shall comply therewith within twelve (12) months of the date of such adoption.
