§ 150.031 APPLICATION; CONTENTS.
   (A)   The application for each building permit required pursuant to § 150.030 shall be made to the Chief Inspector and shall be accompanied by plans and specifications in duplicate showing the work sought to be done. If the work will be undertaken personally by the owner of the premises, the owner shall verify the said plans and specifications by signing them; otherwise said plans and specifications shall be verified and signed by the architect who drew them.
   (B)   It shall be unlawful to erect or assemble within the corporate limits of the Village any prefabricated or factory-manufactured building having a gross floor area in excess of 2,500 square feet and/or to use any prefabricated or factory-manufactured building as a principal building.
   (C)   For purposes of this Chapter, “prefabricated building” or “factory-manufactured building” shall mean any structural, load bearing or lateral load-resisting assemblage of materials as a building or section thereof prior to arrival at the building construction site. Building components and pre-assembled materials produced in accordance with standard specifications referenced by the Village Building Code, such as rolled structural steel shapes, steel beams, steel reinforcing bars, masonry units, pre-cast wall and beam systems, pre-constructed roof trusses, and plywood sheets shall not be considered a “prefabricated building” or “factory-manufactured building” within the meaning of this definition.
