(A) Any person convicted of a violation of the provisions of this chapter shall be fined not less than $50 nor more than $100 for the first offense, and not less than $100 nor more than $750 for each subsequent offense. For all violations, except for solicitation or acceptance of passengers without a license, of this chapter, each day the violation exists shall be a separate offense.
(B) Any person convicted of tampering with or otherwise manipulating a taximeter and any person found to have tampered with a taximeter seal or found with a fraudulently obtained taximeter seal will be subject to a $250 fine for the first offense. A $500 fine will be assessed for the second offense. In addition, the public chauffeurs ID card of such person will be revoked for a second offense.
(C) Any person convicted of a violation of § 123.32 shall be fined not less than $100 nor more than $1,000 for each offense.
