§ 72.16 ALL NIGHT PARKING RESTRICTIONS IN CENTRAL BUSINESS DISTRICT.
   No person shall stop, stand or park a vehicle on any street of the central traffic district for a period of time longer than 30 minutes between the hours of 2:00 a.m. and 6:00 a.m. of any day, except Sundays and holidays; provided, that this section shall not apply to a vehicle of any regularly licensed physician when actually engaged in making professional calls.

§ 72.17 PARKING OF COMMERCIAL VEHICLES IN RESIDENTIAL AREAS.
   (A)   It is unlawful to park any vehicle of a rated size of more than three-fourths of one ton, special construction equipment, implement of husbandry or any trailer not connected to a vehicle on any street or highway in any residential area for a period exceeding five hours or more than the time reasonably necessary to carry out such work or service as reasonably requires the presence of such a vehicle in the residential area, whichever is longer.
   (B)   Except as otherwise provided, recreational vehicles, farm labor buses and authorized emergency vehicles may be parked for a time period up to 24 consecutive hours. On streets less than 36 feet wide which are beyond 25 feet from the curb return of any street intersection, such vehicles may be parked for a time period not longer than five consecutive hours.
   (C)   A person violates this section if, once a vehicle was parked or left standing upon a street or alley for the allowable parking time, it is not moved at least one-quarter mile from its initial parking place for a minimum of four hours before being again parked on the same street or alley.

§ 72.18 FIRE LANE REGULATIONS.
   (A)   The marking of fire lanes on private property, which shall be restricted to right-of-way and emergency access, shall be approved by the Chief of the Fire Department and the City Engineer.
   (B)   Parking of motor vehicles or otherwise obstructing fire lanes shall be prohibited at all times.
   (C)   Fire lanes shall be 15 feet or more in width when required by the Fire Chief to provide access for emergency equipment.
   (D)   Fire lanes shall be located in the manner approved by the Fire Chief.

§ 72.19 DESIGNATION OF PERMIT PARKING DISTRICTS.
   The City Council may, by resolution, at its discretion or upon receipt of a petition signed by residents or merchants living or working in at least fifty-one percent of the developed frontage of the area proposed for designation, designate a certain area or areas to be a permit parking district.

LIMITED PARKING
§ 72.30 AUTHORITY TO SIGN LIMITED TIME PARKING AREA.
   Whenever any resolution of the city designates and describes a limited time parking area, the City Engineer shall maintain appropriate signs or curb markings for the limited time parking areas using the specified time as defined and described in this subchapter, or at other specific times as defined by the City Council.

§ 72.31 TWENTY-MINUTE PARKING.
   (A)   Green curb marking shall mean no standing or parking for a period of time longer the 20 minutes at any time between 9:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. on any day except Sunday(s) and holidays, unless otherwise marked.
   (B)   When authorized signs or curb markings have been determined by the City Engineer to be necessary and are in place giving notice thereof, no operator of any vehicle shall stop, stand or park such vehicle adjacent to any such legible curb marking or sign in violation thereof.

§ 72.32 ONE-HOUR PARKING.
   When authorized signs or curb markings have been determined by the City Engineer to be necessary and are in place giving notice thereof, no operator of any vehicle shall stop, stand or park such vehicle between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. of any day except Sunday(s) and holidays for a period of time longer than one hour.

§ 72.33 TWO-HOUR PARKING.
   When authorized signs or curb markings have been determined by the City Engineer to be necessary and are in place giving notice thereof, no operator of any vehicle shall stop, stand or park such vehicle between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. of any day except Sunday(s) and holidays for a period of time longer than two hours.
