ORDINANCE NO. 883

AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SANTA FE SPRINGS AUGMENTING THE NEW CITY CODE.

   WHEREAS. on October 23, 1997, the City Council adopted Ordinance No. 881, adopting a new City Code by reference, and superseding the then existing City Code in its entirety; and

   WHEREAS, the new City Code referenced in Ordinance No. 881 did not contain certain revisions which had resulted from several ordinances which the City Council had adopted in the several months prior to the adoption of the new City Code; and

   WHEREAS, it was and is the intent of the City Council that all such revisions be a part of the City Code,

   NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA FE SPRINGS DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:

   Section 1:   The City Code is hereby amended to include each of the pages, and the contents therein, attached hereto. All of such numbered pages presently contained in the City Code are replaced by the equivalent numbered pages attached hereto.

   Section 2.   The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this Ordinance, and shall cause the same to be posted in at least three (3) public places in the City, such posting to be completed not later than fifteen (15) days after the passage hereof.

   PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED THIS 23rd DAY OF December, 1997.

   AYES: Councilmembers Gonzalez, Minnehan, Putnam, Sharp, Mayor Kernes.

   NOES: None.

   ABSENT: None.
