Except as otherwise provided in this code, in order to serve on a commission or committee, an individual must be a resident or have an established business interest in the city. In order to serve on a youth-based commission or committee, an individual must be a resident or attend school in the city. These are minimum eligibility requirements, and certain commissions and committees may have additional eligibility requirements.
