(A) When a parcel map is required by this chapter, a tentative parcel map shall first be filed with the Department of Planning and Development. Such map shall meet all the requirements for tentative maps provided by the Subdivision Map Act and this chapter.

(B) Every person submitting a tentative map of a subdivision for which a parcel map or final map is to be filed for record in the office of the County Recorder shall pay a filing fee in an amount as set by City Council resolution.
