§ 155.401 EXTENSION OF TIME LIMITS FOR TERMINATION OF NONCONFORMING USES.
   (A)   In establishing the time periods for the termination of nonconforming uses, it is recognized that there may be some uses which entail a substantial investment in time and money and which would require a greater period of time for amortization of the investment than that set forth in the time table. Any party may petition the Planning Commission for an extension of time for the termination of nonconforming use. The Planning Commission shall conduct a study of the specific use and prepare a report recommending the appropriate time for a termination of said use. A copy of said report shall be forwarded to the City Council for final action.
   (B)   Specific provisions pertaining exclusively to extensions of the one-year amortization period for adult businesses are found at § 155.604 of this chapter.
