A. Street And Alley Obstructions: It shall be unlawful for any person to obstruct any street or alley by erecting or permitting to be erected any fence or fences across or on any part of such street or alley, or any boxes, improvements, wares or merchandise of any kind whatsoever thereon, in such a manner as to interfere with the full and free use of such streets and alleys or any part thereof. B. Sidewalk Obstructions: It shall be unlawful for any person to obstruct any sidewalk in the city by placing or permitting to be placed any boxes, wares, merchandise or other obstruction on the same, or to use more than three feet (3') of such sidewalk for the display of goods or merchandise of any character.
C. Penalty: Any violation of this section shall be punishable in any sum not exceeding two hundred dollars ($200.00). (1988 Code § 7-1-4)
