6-2-2: PARKING RESTRICTIONS:
   A.   No Parking Places: It shall be unlawful to park a vehicle of any kind at any time on a public street with a width of thirty feet (30') or less. Any driver or owner of any vehicle who permits the parking or does actually park such a vehicle on a public street with a width of thirty feet (30') or less shall, upon conviction, be fined not more than two hundred dollars ($200.00).    B.   Parallel Or Angle Parking:
      1.   It shall be unlawful to diagonally park any vehicle on either side of Wallis Avenue in the city from North Lee on the east to Seventh Street on the west; provided, that any such vehicle may be parked parallel with the curb; provided, that the right hand side of said vehicle is parked next to the curb. Provided further, however, that trucks of all nature may only park along the designated portion of Wallis Avenue in a parallel manner as above provided for other vehicles and only while loading and unloading, and all such trucks are prohibited from parking at any time along Wallis Avenue except while so loading and unloading. Any violation of this subsection B1 shall be a misdemeanor, and the owner- operator of such vehicle in violation hereof shall, upon conviction, be fined not more than two hundred dollars ($200.00).
      2.   It shall be unlawful to park or leave standing any motor or other vehicle on Wallis Avenue in the city unless such vehicle is parked or left standing parallel with the curb to the right of said vehicle and in such position that neither of the right hand wheels of said vehicle shall be more than eighteen inches (18") from said curb. Double parking shall not be allowed. Any violation of this subsection B2 shall be a misdemeanor, and the owner-operator of such vehicle in violation hereof shall, upon conviction, be fined not more than two hundred dollars ($200.00).
      3.   a. All motor vehicles parking or left standing on the following portions of streets in the city:
First Street between the south line of Avenue B and the north line of Wallis Avenue;
Second Street between the south line of Avenue B and the north line of North Santa Fe;
Third Street between the south line of Avenue B and the north line of North Santa Fe;
shall be parked and left standing next to the curb on the right side of the street with the right wheel touching such curb and at an angle of no more than forty five degrees (45°) diagonally, between the right side of said motor vehicle and the adjacent curb or street line.
         b.   Upon all other streets and public highways of the city, all motor vehicles so parked and left standing upon such public streets shall be parked and left standing parallel to and adjacent to the right side of such street. In determining the right side of the street, as used in this subsection B3b, the same shall be determined with the reference to the driver or other person using or parking such motor vehicle as facing the front of same.
         c.   Any person violating any provisions of this subsection B3 shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and, upon conviction, shall be fined not more than two hundred dollars ($200.00). (Ord. 061906-1, 6-19-2006)
