(A) Employees that successfully complete the orientation period and who generally work less than 40 hours per week, but generally more than 20 hours per week on a continuous or recurring basis are considered regular part-time employees.
(B) The number of hours worked may be increased or decreased at the discretion of the department head/elected official within the limits authorized by the appointment of the position by the Board of County Commissioners.
