(a) Exterior Walls. Exterior walls including boatwell walls located less than three feet from property lines shall have not less than a one-hour fire-resistive rating. The fire-resistive rating of exterior walls located less than three feet from property line shall be rated for exposure from both sides.
(b) Openings. Openings shall not be permitted in exterior walls of boathouses located less than three feet from the side property line unless openings are protected with approved three-quarter hour fire resistance rated fixed or automatic opening protectives.
