The City Manager shall appoint a Plumbing Inspector. In order to enforce the plumbing regulations as mandated by the State, the qualifications of the Plumbing Inspector shall be in accordance with the applicable licensing provisions of the State of Ohio, as changed from time to time, prescribing minimum qualifications based on education, training, experience, or demonstrated ability. The Plumbing Inspector so appointed shall not, during his term of office, be engaged or interested in the plumbing business or the sale of any plumbing supplies, nor shall he act as agent, directly or indirectly, for any person or persons so engaged. The Inspector's duties shall be as set forth in this chapter.
