All general ordinances of the City passed prior to the adoption of this Code are hereby repealed, except such as are included in this Code, and the following ordinances which are not hereby repealed:
A. Appropriation ordinances; namely, that appropriation ordinance currently in effect at the time of adoption hereof, Ordinance 766. As each new appropriation ordinance is adopted annually, it shall supersede any previous appropriation ordinance.
B. Franchise ordinances; namely, Ordinances 16 and 362, both to Spokane International Railroad; 419 and 436, both to Northern Lights, Inc.; 428 and 637, both for cable television; 606 to Pacific Power and Light Company and 607 to Washington Water Power Company.
C. Ordinances establishing, naming or vacating streets, alleys or other public places; namely, Ordinances 4, 6, 7, 8, 9, 14, 18, 20, 21, 23, 25, 32, 46, 131, 176, 215, 229, 253, 267, 278, 289, 306, 325, 352, 378, 386, 389, 391, 411, 682, 701, 702 and 767.
D. Improvement district ordinances; namely, Ordinances 429 and 433 for L.I.D. 25; and Ordinances 651, 656, 670, 671, 672, 677, 706 and 717 for L.I.D. 26.
E. Bond ordinances; namely, Ordinances 392, 358, 423 and 660. (1983 Code)
