Any operator who is aggrieved by a Department of Finance and Management Services decision regarding the amount of transient lodging tax or penalty owed by the operator may appeal to the Mayor and City Council in accordance with the provisions of Chapter 2.64 of this Code. Any transient who is aggrieved by a Department and Finance and Management Services decision regarding the amount of transient lodging tax owed by the transient may appeal to the Mayor and City Council in accordance with the provisions of Chapter 2.64 of this Code. Any amount that the Mayor and City Council determines is owed to the City shall be remitted to the Department of Finance and Management Services on or before the deadline set by the Mayor and City Council.
