§ 16.0209 Electric Vehicle Charging Station User Fees.
   (a)   Electric vehicle charging station user fees shall consist of a charge of $0.35/kWh plus vendor operator fees at actual cost as stated in § 16.0209(c).
   (b)   The maximum an electric vehicle may charge at an electric vehicle charging station shall be four (4) hours per use. The fee for charging over the 4-hour maximum charge time shall be $0.20/minute with a maximum overstay fee of $48. There shall be a 10-minute grace period after the 4-hour maximum charging time is reached before these fees are incurred. Any overstay fee shall be in addition to the total charging service user fee identified in § 16.0209(a).
   (c)   The electric vehicle charging station user fee shall be for the actual cost to the County associated with the management, operation, and maintenance of electric vehicle charging stations, and the vendor operator fee charged to the County for electric vehicle charging stations owned by or under the jurisdiction of the County. The electric vehicle charging station user fees shall be comprised of a charge station user fee plus all vendor operator fees.
   (d)   The Director of the San Bernardino County Project and Facilities Management Department, or his or her designee, in consultation with the Chief Executive Officer, shall adjust as necessary, the amount for charge station user fees based upon the actual cost of electricity for each parking facility, but such charge station user fee shall not exceed a 25% increase of the charge station user fee identified in § 16.0209(a) above.
