Effective January 3, 2011, the offices of Assessor and Recorder are hereby consolidated. The person to fill the consolidated office shall be known as the Assess/Recorder and shall take the oath and give the bond required for each office, and shall discharge all duties pertaining to each office. The current salary of the Assessor shall be increased in the amount of $30,000 in recognition of the additional duties resulting from the consolidation of offices. Any reference in this Code to Assessor or Recorder shall mean Assessor/Recorder.
