§ 12.4110   Term of Office.
   (a)   Pursuant to San Bernardino County Code § 12.3701, the appointment of a commissioner shall expire on the date that the Supervisor who recommended the appointment leaves office, while the underlying term shall continue pursuant to Subdivision (b) below.
   (b)   Each term of office for a planning commissioner position shall be four years, commencing on February 1 and ending on January 31 of the fourth succeeding year. The terms of office for commissioners for the Section and Fourth Supervisorial Districts shall expire on January 31, 1999, and on January 31 of each fourth succeeding year thereafter. The terms of office for commissioners for the First, Third and Fifth Supervisorial Districts shall expire on January 31, 2001, and on January 31 of each fourth succeeding year thereafter.
   (c)   Notwithstanding Subdivisions (a) and (b) above, any member of the Planning Commission may be removed from the Commission at any time on the motion of the supervisor who nominated the commissioner, approved by majority vote of the Board of Supervisors.
   (d)   The eligibility of any member of the Airports Commission to augment the Planning Commission for review of any development project located within the boundaries of an airport comprehensive land use plan, an airport land use compatibility plan or similarly entitled plan shall cease at the expiration of the term of appointment of that Airport Commissioner in accordance with § 12.1603 of this division and title.
