(A) (1) The County Engineer is hereby authorized to prohibit stopping, standing or parking, and is directed to place and maintain appropriate signs and curb markings giving notice of this regulation at any place when such prohibition, as indicated by a traffic engineering investigation, will alleviate dangerous hazardous traffic conditions or facilitate the full use of the roadway. The County Engineer is directed further to place and maintain appropriate signs or curb markings giving notice that vehicles in violation of this prohibition are subject to removal.
(2) It is unlawful to stop, park, or leave standing any vehicle, whether attended or unattended, in any place so marked or signed.
(B) When the County Engineer, upon the basis of an engineering investigation, finds that the conditions no longer exist to prohibit stopping, standing or parking as authorized in § 17.02.001(A), the County Engineer may remove such signs and such curb markings from such portion of such street or highway.
