§ 50.03 REPAIR TO NON-DEDICATED WATERLINES.
   (A)   The cost of repairing, or replacing in kind, of any non-dedicated waterline extending beyond the corporation limits of the village from a valve or corporation stop to its destination will be the sole responsibility of the owner or owners of said line. Any and all damage caused to property, other than line owners, during line repair, such as, but not limited to, streets, sidewalks, curbs, and landscaping, shall be repaired to the property owner’s satisfaction at the line owner’s expense.
   (B)   The Water and Sewer Department will determine the time limit for repair of any line breaks which will be dependent upon the severity of the leak. If it is determined that the leak is severe enough that immediate repair is necessary, the Water and Sewer Department will repair at the owner’s expense.
   (C)   In the event the waterline break is repaired by the Village Water and Sewer Department, arrangements for payment must be made with the Village Clerk within five working days after completion of the work, or the repaired line will be shut off until said arrangements are made. In the event of nonpayment of the agreed amount, the line will be shut off until payment is satisfied.
   (D)   All waterlines that have not been legally dedicated to the village which extend beyond the corporation limits of said village are subject to divisions (A) through (C) above as stated.
   (E)   There will not be any waterlines running beyond the village cooperate limits, except as specified in § 50.02.
