Whenever the Board of Trustees shall elect to construct a sidewalk in the village in compliance with a request as provided in § 150.30, they shall, by resolution, direct the same to be done, specifying in said resolution the dimensions of the same and the work of constructing any permanent sidewalk in the village shall be let by public notice.
