§ 91.40 BURNING.
   The conditions of burning shall be as follows.
   (A)   Burning prohibited. It shall be unlawful to light or maintain any open or contained fire anywhere in the village, except as listed in division (B) below.
   (B)   Exceptions.
      (1)   The village may conduct outdoor leaf and brush burning on publicly owned property, which burning shall be supervised by an officer or employee of the village and shall be executed in a safe manner.
      (2)   It shall not be a violation of this section if said fire is contained in a grill for cooking or in a covered unit for recreational campfires.
