§ 90.02 IMPOUNDMENT.
   Every such animal as aforesaid shall be seized and penned up by the Chief of Police or other appointed person in some secure place where such animals will be fed and watered until otherwise disposed of. Should said animals remain unclaimed, the same shall be sold at public sale and the proceeds, after the payment of all costs of such keep, shall be turned over to the village treasury. Should said animals be claimed, the same shall be returned to the rightful owner upon the payment of all costs expended by the village in keeping said animals.
