§ 152.072 IMPROVEMENTS PROVIDED OR INSTALLED BY PROPRIETOR.
   (A)   Improvements provided by the proprietor with prior city approval shall be installed in accordance with plans approved by the City Engineer and in the order approved by the city. Where necessary to assure the actual construction and completion of such improvement, the city may require a cash or corporate surety bond or irrevocable bank letter of credit from the proprietors in an amount as determined by the city.
   (B)   In order to assure uniformity in street tree plantings and street signs, the proprietor shall arrange for the furnishing and installation of street trees and street signs with the Superintendent of Streets and Bridges and City Engineer, respectively, of the city, at the established current unit cost.
      (1)   Street tree planting plans shall be prepared by the Superintendent of Streets and Bridges, and tree requirements shall be determined on the basis of a spacing of approximately 50 feet between trees.
      (2)   Street sign requirements shall be determined by the City Engineer on the basis of one street sign for each intersection of two streets or other public ways.
