§ 15.03 CRIMINAL HISTORY INVESTIGATION OF APPLICANTS FOR CITY EMPLOYMENT.
   (A)   The city police shall be allowed to run a complete criminal history on the final candidate for a position for city employment after the candidate has met all other qualifications for the position prior to being hired. The criminal history shall be seen only upon request by the City Personnel Administrator and upon the candidate’s written authorization to release such information to the city.
   (B)   As used in this section, CITY EMPLOYMENT shall mean any position whereby the individual, if hired, would be an employee of the city or any of its agencies, commissions, boards, or departments, as the term “employee” is used or defined within the meaning of the Worker’s Disability Compensation Act, Public Act 317 of 1969, being M.C.L. §§ 418.101 et seq., as amended.
