It is unlawful for any owner or agent thereof to keep or maintain any building or part thereof which is a dangerous building. The city does establish this subchapter to govern the abatement of dangerous buildings, structures, or parts thereof, to establish procedures to determine if a building, structure, or part thereof is dangerous, to provide for review, notice and due process in the actions involved with such buildings, structures, or parts thereof. The “Ordinance for the Abatement of Dangerous Buildings, Structures, or Parts Thereof”, thereafter also referred to as “this subchapter”, is hereby adopted by the city.
