(A) Every dwelling unit, dormitory, apartment house, hotel, lodging house, and motel shall be provided with electrical energy.
(B) Every supplied piece of electrical equipment, including, but not limited to, services, permanently-connected electrical appliances, conductors, boxes, fittings, conduit, receptacles, switches, devices, cover plates, and fixtures shall be installed in accordance with the Electrical Code of the city and shall be maintained in a safe, satisfactory working condition, free of hazards and adequate to carry the loads imposed.
(C) Unaltered existing electrical systems which were properly installed in accordance with the applicable laws in effect at the time of installation may continue in use, provided that they are maintained in a safe, satisfactory working condition, free of hazards and adequate to carry the loads imposed and are not dangerous to life, health, safety, or the public welfare; and in addition, for all circuits where overcurrent protection is provided by a fuse, “S” type 15 amp fusestadt adapters shall be installed immediately.
