§ 150.07 PLUMBING BOARD OF APPEALS.
   (A)   The Plumbing Board of Appeals, created and empowered as provided in § 12.021, in order that the suitability of alternate materials and types or methods of construction under the Plumbing Code may be determined and to provide for reasonable interpretation of the Plumbing Code shall, upon application, hear and determine any written appeal made to it by a person considering himself or herself aggrieved by any action or decision of any official acting under the provisions of the Plumbing Code.
   (B)   Service of an appeal shall be made to the Secretary of the Board in care of the Chief Inspector within ten days after such action or decision appealed from. All appeals shall be made in writing, providing the address where the alleged grievance occurred, is occurring or will occur, the name of the appellant, his or her address and telephone number, and the date.
   (C)   The Board shall adopt reasonable rules and regulations for conducting its business pursuant hereto and shall render all decisions in writing to the appellant with a duplicate copy to the Chief Inspector and may recommend to the City Council such new legislation as is consistent herewith.
   (D)   The Plumbing Board of Appeals shall have no authority relative to interpretation of the administrative provisions of this code nor shall the Board be empowered to waive requirements of the Plumbing Code.
