The fee for each building permit shall be as set forth in division (A) below. The fee for each plumbing permit shall be as set forth in division (B) below. The fee for each electrical permit shall be as set forth in division (C) below. The fee for each mechanical permit shall be as set forth in division (D) below.
(A) Building permit and inspection fees. The building permit and inspection fees be established by City Council and posted in the office of the City Clerk.
(B) Plumbing permit and inspection fees. The plumbing permit and inspection fees be established by City Council and posted in the office of the City Clerk.
(C) Electrical permit and inspection fees. The electrical permit and inspection fees be established by City Council and posted in the office of the City Clerk.
(D) Mechanical permit and inspection fees. The mechanical permit and inspection fees be established by City Council and posted in the office of the City Clerk.
(E) Refundable reinspection fee. A refundable reinspection fees as established by City Council and posted in the office of the City Clerk above shall be paid at the time of application for all permits. The fee shall be refunded to the applicant provided:
(1) The applicant has requested the refund of said fee prior to the expiration of the permit;
(2) The applicant has received an approved final inspection prior to the expiration of the permit; and
(3) The applicant has caused the work to be completed without the need for additional inspections (i.e., reinspection of work which was initially done in violation of the appropriate code).
(F) Plan review fee.
(1) Any person requesting that construction plans be reviewed for code compliance shall make application to the Chief Inspector on a form provided by the Inspections Division and pay a plan review fee equal to 20% of the building permit fee as required in division (A) above.
(2) If the project only requires plumbing, mechanical, or electrical review, the fee shall be equal to an amount established by City Council and posted in the office of the City Clerk.
(3) The fee shall be required for all construction which requires construction plans as provided for in the appropriate code.
