The term of any franchise and all rights, privileges, obligations, and restrictions pertaining thereto shall be as stated in the franchise agreement. The effective date of the franchise shall be the date of adoption of the resolution by the grantor approving the franchise agreement, subject to prior acceptance by the grantee.
