§ 96.037 CUTS IN EXISTING CURBS.
   (A)   No opening in or through any existing curb of any street or alley shall be made without first obtaining a written permit from the City Engineer. Engineer. The fee for such permit shall be approved by City Council and available in the Engineering Office.
   (B)   Failure to obtain the permit shall result in the permit fee being doubled.
   (C)   Failure to obtain the required inspection for approval of the work shall result in a fine, approved by City Council and available in the Engineering Office.
   (D)   Before any such permit is issued, the applicant therefor may be required to furnish a bond deemed adequate by the City Engineer and conditioned upon the prompt completion of the work in accordance with the plans and specifications and restoration of the street.
