No person, firm, or corporation shall engage in the business of providing for the installation, operation, and/or maintenance of a burglar and/or fire alarm system and/or a combined alarm monitoring sales facility unless properly licensed by the state pursuant to the Private Security Business and Security Alarm Act, Public Act 330 of 1968, being M.C.L. §§ 338.1051 et seq.
