(A) Operation on streets and highways. No person shall operate a snowmobile upon the streets or highways within the city as defined in this chapter with the following exception: snowmobiles may be operated on a street or highway during a period of emergency when travel by conventional automotive equipment is not possible.
(B) Operation on municipal property prohibited. No person shall operate a snowmobile upon city park or cemetery property or other municipally owned or controlled property.
(C) Other restrictions. No person shall operate a snowmobile:
(1) At a rate of speed greater than is reasonable and proper having due regard for conditions then existing;
(2) When under the influence of intoxicating liquor or narcotic drugs or barbital or any derivative of barbital;
(3) During the hours from one-half hour after sunset to one-half hour before sunrise without displaying a lighted headlight and a lighted taillight. This provision does not apply to a snowmobile of a model 25 years or older;
(4) When the operation of a snowmobile creates excessive or unusual noise and/or annoying smoke;
(5) While transporting thereon a bow or firearm within; or
(6) On any property without permission of the owner or person in control thereof.
