(A) Whenever any street is closed to the use of traffic and is so indicated by authorized signs or barriers, no vehicle shall proceed into said street or any portion thereof except as directed by said signs.
(B) Violation of the provisions of this section shall be a criminal misdemeanor and punishable as provided in § 70.99(B).
