For the purpose of this subchapter, the following definitions shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
CITY. The City of Saginaw, Michigan.
COUNCIL. The duly elected governing body of the city.
SAGINAW BRANCH LINE. The part of the city’s unfiltered water supply line of the “Saginaw-Midland Water Supply System” which is located between the Junction Pumping Station and the north city limits of the city.
SUPERINTENDENT OR ASSISTANT SUPERINTENDENT OF MAINTENANCE AND SERVICE. The duly appointed officers of the city or their authorized representatives.
WATER CONNECTION. The part of the consumer’s water supply system between the Saginaw Branch Line and the highway right-of-way line or the city’s pipe line right-of-way line.
WATER EXTENSION. That part of the consumer’s water supply system extending from the end of the water connection into the premises served and ending at the city’
