§ 12.015 BOARD OF EXAMINERS OF STATIONARY BOILER OPERATORS AND STATIONARY ENGINEERS.
   (A)   Creation; membership. There is hereby created a Board of Examiners of Stationery Boiler Operators and Stationary Engineers, composed of three members appointed by the Council upon recommendation of the City Manager. No person shall be so appointed unless he or she is qualified by technical training or has had at least ten years actual experience in operating steam boilers and steam actuated machinery. Members shall serve for a term of three years.
   (B)   Meetings; compensation. The Board shall meet one Saturday of each month or upon call of the City Clerk and members shall be compensated on a quarterly basis in an amount recommended by the City Clerk and approved by the City Manager and City Council through the approval of the budget each year.
   (C)   Power and duties. The Board is hereby empowered, in accordance with the provisions of Ch. 110, to conduct examinations for persons seeking licenses to operate steam boilers and steam actuated machinery and by majority vote to authorize the City Clerk to issue said licenses.
