For the purposes of this chapter, the following words and phrases shall have the meanings respectively ascribed to them by this section:
"Billiard" or "pool parlor" includes any place where one or more billiard, pool or combination tables are installed and where a charge is made for the use of such billiard or pool or combination tables.
"Proprietor" includes any person, who as lessee, owner, manager or person in charge shall conduct, manage or control, or permit to be conducted, managed or controlled, any place where any billiard, pool or combination table is installed for the use of which a charge is made. (Prior code § 8.01.001)
