Upon request, any member on whose behalf an application is filed, the applicant or the city manager or his or her designee, shall be afforded the opportunity to appear before the retirement system manager to present such additional information not included in the application which may be relevant to the matter under consideration. The retirement system manager may require the applicant or any other witness to respond to questions under oath. The retirement system manager shall give ten (10) day's written notice to all parties of the time and place for such presentation and shall maintain a record of the additional information so presented.
