A. The following shall be exempted from payment of the fees established by this chapter:
1. Alterations, renovations, or expansion of an existing residential building or structure where no additional dwelling units are created and the use is not changed;
2. The replacement of a destroyed or partially destroyed or damaged residential building or structure with a new residential building or structure of the same size and use.
B. Any claim of exemption with respect to the school facilities fee must be made no later than the time for application for fee protest pursuant to Section 18.24.710 of this chapter. (Prior code § 84.05.507)
