Except as otherwise provided in Section 2.124.740 of this chapter, should any member of this plan cease to be employed by the city, through any cause other than death or retirement, all of his or her contributions, with interest credited thereon, shall be refunded to him or her subject to the conditions prescribed by this chapter to cover similar terminations of employment and reemployment with and without redeposits of withdrawn accumulated contributions, of other members of the retirement system.
