Private sewer lines serving two or more buildings or structures located on the same lot or parcel and private storm drain lines, and all appurtenances thereto, that are not maintained by a public utility, shall be constructed to meet the standards of construction of public sewer lines and public storm drain lines set forth in the standard specifications, unless different standards are approved by the director.
