12.88.010   Definitions.
   The following definitions shall apply in the interpretation of this article:
   "Aircraft and engine repair shop operator" means any person who rents or leases from the city a building or space in a building that has been specifically designated as an aircraft and engine repair shop.
   "Airman" means any person certified by the federal aviation agency to engage in commercial flying, student instruction, aircraft and engine servicing and repairing, and parachute rigging.
   "Airport" means the Sacramento Executive Airport.
   "Airport concessionaire" means any person who engages in retail sales and serving of meals, soft drinks, liquors, candy, tobacco, vending machines, etc.
   "Airport manager" means the manager of the Sacramento Executive Airport or his or her duly authorized representative.
   "City" means the city of Sacramento.
   "City manager" means the manager of the city.
   "Control tower" means the Federal Aviation Agency air traffic control tower located in the terminal building at the Sacramento Executive Airport.
   "Council" means the city council of the city.
   Federal Aviation Agency. For the purpose of these regulations, the abbreviation FAA may be used instead of Federal Aviation Agency.
   "Fixed base operator" means any person who rents or leases facilities, such as office space, classrooms or storage space for aircraft from the city, and who engages in the operation of aircraft for hire or reward using this airport as an operating base. (Prior code § 4.02.020)
