10.16.020   Signs to be in place prior to enforcement of laws.
   No provision of the Vehicle Code or this code for which signs are required shall be enforced against an alleged violator unless appropriate signs are in place giving notice of such provisions and sufficiently legible to be seen by an ordinarily observant person. (Prior code § 25.02.031)
