Whenever a city council resolution designates any street or alley as being limited to travel in one direction only, the city traffic engineer shall place and maintain signs giving notice thereof. Signs indicating the direction of lawful traffic movement shall be placed at every intersection where movement of traffic in the opposite direction is prohibited.
When signs are erected on any one-way street or alley giving notice thereof, no person shall drive any vehicle in a direction contrary thereto. (Prior code § 25.04.063)
