The specifications for the medallion and bars of the marksmanship medals shall be as follows:
A. A medallion of sterling silver, one and one-eighth inches in diameter and three thirty-seconds inch thick with two substantial closed links attached to upper edge as shown in cut. The front and reverse sides shall be stamped with design and lettering as shown in cut.
B. A gold bar pin, ten (10) carat, one and three-sixteenths inches long by five-sixteenths inch wide by three sixty-fourths inch thick with two closed links attached to lower edge. The front side of the bar shall be stamped with design as shown in cut and the word "EXPERT" and the year of issue to be in raised letters and numerals as shown in cut. The back side of the bar shall have soldered on it a substantial pin with safety catch.
C. A sterling silver bar pin, same dimensions and construction as the gold bar pin; except, the front side will contain the word "SHARPSHOOTER" and the year of issue in raised letters together with the design as shown in the cut.
D. A bronze bar pin, same dimensions and construction as the gold and silver bar pins; except, that the front side will contain the word "MARKSMAN" and the year of issue in raised letters together with the design as shown in the cut. (Prior code § 30.01.005)
