8.100.530 Minimum window size.

Windows with an area of not less than five and seven tenths square feet with no net opening dimension less than twenty (20) inches shall be deemed to meet the requirements of this section provided sill heights are not over forty-four (44) inches above the floor.

Exemption: the minimum clear opening for emergency escape and rescue grade-floor openings shall be five square feet. (Ord. 2009-014 § 2; Ord. 2004-008 § 14; prior code § 49.08.802)
