8.96.390   Abatement of immediately dangerous buildings or structures-Procedures.
   Whenever the building official has inspected or caused to be inspected any building or structure and has found and determined that such building or structure is an immediately dangerous building or structure as defined in Section 8.96.120 of this chapter, the same may be summarily abated and removed by the city without compliance with the provisions of Articles IV, V, VI, VII and VIII of this chapter prior to such abatement. The building official may abate the dangerous conditions in any reasonable manner which he or she determines will eliminate the immediate threat to the health, safety and welfare of the public. Reasonable means to abate the dangerous conditions include, but are not limited to, demolition, repairing, boarding to city specifications, securing, fencing and vacating.
