A massage therapy practitioner must maintain general liability insurance coverage in the minimum amount of $1,000,000 per occurrence and must provide proof of insurance upon request of the city. Notwithstanding the aforementioned, if the practitioner is an employee of a massage therapy establishment and that establishment carries the minimum amount of general liability insurance coverage, the practitioner is not subject to this section.
