All budget requirements must be submitted to the city council in August of the current year and approved at the December city council meeting. Requisitions for additional equipment are to be submitted to the city council for approval before purchasing the same. Emergency repairs are hereby authorized in the event that if any fire apparatus shall become so disabled that immediate repairs are necessary, these repairs shall be authorized by the chief of the department.
